Cesca b32 vintage chair in steel and beechwood by Marcel Breuer, Italy 1970s

Iconic piece of modern design created by Marcel Breuer in 1928, this Cesca B32 chair is an Italian edition from the 70s. Its cantilever structure is made of thick tubular steel. The backrest and seat are in painted beech.This caned version has integrated glides under the base, and is stamped Made in Italy in the wood, as well as on the label.A discreet repair of the backrest caning has been done, and the paint shows traces of time.
