About this vintage design furniture
This figurative ceramic vase or table sculpture was created by the Italian ceramist Elio Schiavon in collaboration with the South Tyrolean pottery and ceramic art workshop 'SKK' during the 1950s. SKK stands for 'Südtiroler Kunst Keramik'. South Tyrol is a German-speaking area of Italy. The hand-painted piece portrays an abstracted figure: 'A warrior holding a shield'.
