Vintage cocktail set in parchment and brass by Aldo Tura for Macabo Milano, 1960

Beautiful cocktail set including an ice bucket and a shaker in parchment created by Aldo Tura for Macabo Cusano Milanino in Milan in the early 60s. Characteristic of Aldo Tura's work, the parchment is a dyed and lacquered goat skin that gives its shades, and this absolutely superb piqué. This example is in red tinted parchment, with brass ornaments. A very chic, timeless set that can be used as a decorative element as well as a functional cocktail service. Both pieces have been fully cleaned and repolished, and are in superb vintage condition. Signed under the bucket. Reference : 243779
