Vintage Bauhaus daybed in bent chrome, Czechoslovakia 1940s

Beautiful, original daybed, or a bed from Czechoslovakia. Produced in a Bauhaus era of 1940s in an elegant chrome metal pipes. The frame has elegantly designed sides and back with typical design of the era. The cushion/mattrace is original. The daybed was rarely used, so the mattrace is in good condition and the original upholstery is in a great shape. No tears or damages. The fabric is also original with a square shaped design which is an elegant and interesting detail. The bed can easily serve as a daybed or a couch with just a few pillows in the back. The metal is good condition, some parts, especially bottom of the legs show more damage and age wear. Reference : 243527
