About this vintage design furniture
The Tulip armchair by designer Pierre Paulin is a real design icon.
Inspired by the flower, the chair has a Tulip-esque silhouette with a petal shaped seat which curves out to create armrests. Upholstered in orange fabric, the chairs sit on a circular base which allows them to rotate 360 degrees.
Originally designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965.
These 2 chairs has been made around 2010 and are fully original with metal sign underneath the seat shell with 'ARTIFORT Tulip Pierre Paulin'
Under the heavy metal disk base you find also the sign of Artifort. They are in a very good vintage condition with a few minor spots on the armrest and at the back rim ( see detailed pictures). Fabric itself is in a very good condition.
Somoe usersmarks on the metal base.
Disk base diameter 45.
